Try US Military Penpals And Find Happiness
Growing up in the military was not an easy thing for me. My dad was always on the go and I never really got a chance to settle and make friends.
While I never enlisted myself, I always feel like I have to show appreciation to our troops. Their struggle ensures the freedoms that I enjoy everyday of my life.
That is why I spend so much of my time writing to my US military penpals. This is a way for me to give hope to those who may suffer from being home sick or lonely.
I receive many response letter thanking me for taking the time to write. Many of my friends tell me how healing it is know that they are doing something for a cause.
I get the sense that my letters bring them the familiarity of being home. When I initially thought about getting a US military penpal, I was apprehensive.
Once I received my first response letter, I knew that this was something rewarding and fulfilling. If I'm ever in a smiliar situation, I hope someone thinks of me the same way I think of my penpals.
