Ever Wanted To Visit The High Tatras? Well, You Should!
In a break from university recently, myself and a few other Afrikaans girls decided that we were going to take advantage of the cottage that one of my other friends (or more specifically, her parents) has in Slovakia and go up and take a nice visit. As most of us have never left South Africa, we thought it would be a great opportunity to see somewhere new, and that is exactly how it turned out.
I was especially keen to see the High Tatras whilst I was over there.
I had heard so much about how unusual and beautiful it was in this mountain range, and I really cannot get enough of that kind of stuff. I think several of my friends took a fair amount of persuading to go and see them - one girl especially said to me, "Afrikaans girls are not built for climbing!" I've no idea what that means, but I felt find once we had set off for them! It really was a fantastic vacation and the first opportunity that I get I will be jetting off to see it all again!
